Emma Grede's Start With Yourself tour stopped in Portland for a single night. This is the page built to fill the room.

The brief was to avoid the usual event page, where a date and a form sit on a flat background and hope for the best. They wanted the book to be the thing you remember.

So it is: a three dimensional book resting at the centre of the page, slightly turning toward you as you move, then rising to take over the screen when you go to reserve a place.

Everything else stays quiet around it. Cream, editorial type, nothing ornamental competing for attention. The book moves so the page doesn't have to.
