Holographic Messenger Pigeon

A client asked for a preview of an interactive support experience I was building for them. The obvious move was an email with a link.

But a preview is a first impression, and an experience judged through a plain email is already being judged in the wrong frame. So I built the delivery instead. A holographic pigeon flies in, lands, and drops a sealed scroll. Click the scroll and it unrolls into the note, shown in a style that matches the world the project lives in.

The note does real work too. It sets expectations, still in progress, best on desktop. It separates the feedback I wanted from the feedback I didn't. And it asks for a conversation about the reasoning before anything changes.

Built in an afternoon. It set the tone for every conversation that followed.

The medium is never neutral. Even the feedback request is part of the experience.
